Helicopter Training / Licence Conversions

If you have an ICAO or military helicopter pilot’s licence that you wish to convert to a JAA/EASA licence then FAST Helicopters can help. We can provide professional CPL, ATPL and Flight Instructor conversion courses, each personalised to your exact requirements. We have extensive experience in converting professional helicopter pilot licenses from many ICAO countries such as the USA (FAA), Canada (TC), South Africa (SACAA) and Australia (CASA).

FAST also has an in-house FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) who can perform Bi-annual Flight Reviews (BFR) and give endorsements to go forward for FAA check rides. This means that FAST is ideally placed to work with you on any licence conversion between the USA and Europe.

We have dealt with many Qualified Service Personnel (QSP) who have finished their military service and want to obtain a civilian licence, and we are ELCAS approved. ELCAS allows service personnel to use the MoD’s Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) as funding towards obtaining their professional pilot licence. See our ELCAS page.
